This blog is a chronicle of The Early Wills Project to conserve 28 volumes of Tudor and Stuart Wills held by Northamptonshire Archives Service. The work is being carried out by Book and Paper Conservator Alison Faden and began in December 2013.

Alison graduated from Camberwell in 2010 with an MA in Conservation specialising in Books and Paper. She served Internships at The Leather Conservation Centre and The British Library Centre for Conservation before becoming a freelance conservator in 2012.
